In light of the Swine Flu (H1N1) outbreak, it seemed appropriate to remind everyone about the one of the best tips for staying healthy - wash your hands.
Now, this doesn't mean just running your hands under water as your rushing to the next thing. You need to wash with soap for at least 20 seconds. From what I've seen, most people will use soap but they won't spend time lathering and they definitely don't wash for 20 seconds.
Here is the CDC's guidelines for washing your hands.
Another good tip is to keep a small bottle of hand santizer with you. I have one in my purse and in my desk drawer as a back up for when I don't have access to soap and water.
No one has time to be sick so prevent illness and wash those hands!
